I bring a deep understanding of state systems, application development environments, and the mission-driven work that supports public safety and positive outcomes for my clients. Throughout my career, I have provided leadership and direction to application development teams while partnering closely with functional business areas to deliver effective, reliable system solutions. My experience includes managing projects that support core operational domains such as offender-related systems, administrative and financial services, and shared enterprise platforms. I have led system planning, estimation, execution, implementation, and post-deployment support while ensuring alignment with established development methodologies, standards, and policies. In my current role as Project Manager II, Business Area Expert, and Systems Administrator with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, I manage complex technology initiatives from concept through to reality. I work closely with business stakeholders, technical staff, and external vendors to ensure solutions are effective, well-documented, and responsive to evolving organizational needs. I routinely review detailed system specifications, oversee enhancements to existing applications, manage risk, and ensure projects remain on schedule and within approved budgets. Previously, I worked as a Project Manager with the Department Of Corrections Wisconsin. I supported application development efforts by coordinating resources, tracking progress in Jira, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring consistent communication between technical teams and business partners. This experience provided me with a strong foundation in operational environment, governance processes, and the importance of delivering dependable systems that directly support custody, supervision, and reentry functions. I also bring experience managing vendor-supported work, including tracking contracted resources, monitoring utilization, and ensuring alignment with budgetary and contractual requirements—skills that align directly with the responsibilities associated with the State’s Vendor Management Solution (VMS). I am comfortable serving as the point of accountability for system delivery and performance while balancing stakeholder expectations and operational constraints. I hold a Master of Science in Information Systems with a concentration in IT Project Management from Boston University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems and a minor in Business Administration. My professional background includes Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models, with a consistent focus on collaboration, accountability, and measurable results. I am motivated by work that has purpose, and I am especially drawn to evidence-based practices and lasting positive change.
